I got this wing for free, it came brand new in a box from Japan.

I've never seen US wings like this so I was wondering what model it was. Maybe '92 FC3S GT-X model?

hmm i dunno what it is, mouting points look right...but sellit on ebay listed as a JDM RX7 Rear Wing and you'll make a fortune .

hey guys, first post. i'm wakeech over at the RX-8 board, and when i first got into rotary engines, this place just overwhelmed me, and i wanted to learn about the RENESIS anyways, and just kinda grow up with a board. i'm now proud to say that the RX-8 board is doing well, i'm a mod, 3rd highest poster, and now know lots, feeling not quite so overwhelmed.

i'm an FC guy (any year TII, which i'd rip apart and put back together my way... with lots of spare parts at the end ) so i'll be pokin' around here the most.

That wing looks pretty good. Hmmm....I'll have to flip through my RX-7 magazines tonight and see if I can come up w/ a match for it.

i got it from my friend-- it was sitting in a warehouse just collecting dust and he needed a white gtu wing which I had, so we just traded

I can't seem to find pics of '92 GTX so that's what im figuring it is

I checked a rotary magazine that I had at my parents' house. The pictures didn't give a good view of the spoiler. (Although it looked similar to the one you have). Will have to check some other magazines that I have.....

 

umm i have the same spoiler on my car ... 89 T2

 

Fingers, the mounting points on his wing look a little different.. they are larger, it's definatly a diff wing.

than again, there were 3 wings availiable for the FC.

86 sport (small rubber wing) which acctually improved aerodynamics
the 87 turbo wing (acctually increased drag) and was designed pretty much just for looks
than the 89+ wing that fingers and alot of S5 guys have.

They improved them mount locations and make the center supports a little larger, and yes, ABS injection molding
