Can Someone Estimate My Horse Power?

I have an Apex-i Intake, RB Header; I am getting ported and polished intake manifolds, an Apex-i dual N1 cat back system, and a RB presilencer all next week. My rex is an 86 N/A. I just want a rough total estimate once i get all these extra parts on next week. Thanks

Its hard to say, hows everything else running on the motor? Compression? Miles? What are you porting on the IM? Do you still have your 6 port system functioning?

It has 140,000 miles. It runs good, but it is hesitating at around 4500 rpm's lately. I have an exhaust leak between the cat and the Y-pipe, so i was thinking that might be the problem. But lets just say it wasn't hesitating b/c I will fix all that this weekend. So how bout an estimate for a N/A car w/140k with all those parts on it. Can you not even guess? Not even a ballpark guess? Here's the manifold, it's ported and polished I was told. https://www.rx7club.com/forum/attach...postid=1149979

Yo,

Are we talking crank or wheel HP?

I put down 140 with RB DP/Presilencer, wired 6 ports, working VDI, HKS 50mm exhaust and Greddy intake.

That's on a Series 5. For you? Ummm...129 maybe? You'll never know until you dyno it.

Yo,

Dude, /which/ Honda guys? 180 to 200 to the wheels? Normally aspirated? Maybe an S2000...but not a Civic Si or a Integra GSR.

Yeah, my dyno number is small. But remember, it's not the size...it's how you use it. *grin*

LOL, i hear you bro. I guess you're right about the hondas, but i know a few guys w/all motor integras making upwards of 250hp. The only thing left i can do to mine will be to supercharge it and put some nitrous on it. oh, and tear it all down to street port it. Woo Hoo!!! 137 Mighty HP!!!

Yo,

Bro, we need to determine if you are talking wheel or crank horsepower.

The Series 4 (86-88) FC's made 145 at the crank.

The Series 5 (89-91) FC's made 160 at the crank.

What will they do at the wheels? Only way to find out is to put 'em on the dyno. You get driveline loss and all kinds of crap.

That's my car onna dyno.

Yo,

You want to right click and "Save As" on the link in the GTUs Dyno thread.

You should be putting down between 130-140. Id say closer to 130. Also, no Honda guys I know of are putting down 200 without MAJOR work.

IMO, I'd say 134rwp. Get It dynoed and you'll probably come very close to this number.

Ya unless you see a dyno sheet assume that the honda guys are taking their stock flywheel hp and adding more flywheel horsepower estimates for all the parts they put on. To the wheels is what matters, flywheel HP is just more so thats what manufacturers use.
