Can someone with a 89+ T2 do me a big favor?

Could you measure the "in" side of the mass air flow meter, and the "Out" side? The inside diameter would be nice

Some peole say that the 89+ T2 and n/a cars use the same meter...but others say the T2 has a larger one....

They're pretty much identical on the outside... only the shape of the plunger, inside the AFM is different. The Turbo has a round, dome like shape plunger and the NA plunger comes to a point, shaped more like a cone.

Strange the inlet to mine was 2.5"...TII too...

its actually 8cm (3.15")out, 6cm (2.36") in. but you dumbasses dont measure metric so you lose some accuracy by rounding to whole numbers!

Well here in america, what we measure is correct, otherwise we'd be using metric!!

Unfortunately, all the aftermarket air filters i seem to find...are in ASE measurements, so it's better to get a 2.5" diameter flange (rubber w/clamp) that can be tightened down to fit exactly.
