CA Can somebody help identify this connector? Pics

OK so I removed my alternator this morning and that's when I noticed this wire connector not hooked up anywhere. I looked for anything obvious but I'm stumped. Its a '90 NA by the way. Air pump was removed by previous owner, so maybe that could have something to do with it, idk. any help would be great.

That goes to the aux. electric fan sensor...which you probably don't have.

Thanks man. I dont think i have one how would i know for sure as far as i know i can only see a clutch fan,

You'd have a small efan (8 or 10", IIRC) on the front of your radiator.

and an automatic transmission. the harness was the same on every car, so they all COULD have fans, but an M/T S5 NA wont
