Can a second gen N/A have ITB's?

I wouldnt mind putting ITB's on a second N/A .

^ thanx....
does anyone here have any experience with ITB's?
what kind of power did u make or how did it react?
Bc I am thinking of using this 2nd gen for drifting, not sure yet though...
thanx once again

man they look sick.
but dayum you need a stand alone ecu system for that...****, I wonder if Rtek could handle that...
will all ITB's applications need a Stand alone?

You could build an airbox around the horns and put the AFM at the opening, along with a filter so you don't ruin your motor.
That looks like a pretty trick piece, but the fuel rails don't use AN fittings?
Also, it looks like you also need a different intake manifold to fit that thing to the motor.

but here is my question, my motor has a large street port and ported exhaust and 6ports are opened and egr is closed...
how muhc power would I make with ITB's..and I do plan on running it autocross...
has anyone before tried ITB's on rx7? what exactly do i need...
I do aplogise for all the questions , and sorry if they seem stupid, its just something that I want to do..

So, you're saying he should rig a stock AFM up to those? So he can use the stock ECU? Then how does he tune it?
I think you'd be better off spending your money on suspension and tire upgrades for autocross. Big power doesn't do a whole lot unless it's a large course. Hence minis and c5's running comparable times on small courses.
I would fix your aux ports too.

you're not going to make much more power than a typical n/a bseries honda im afraid.
having a fast n/a = lots of money
itb's are really better suited for a peripheral-port motor.
ITB's are really a race-only part because tuning for ITBs requires patience and time.

And the ITBs probably put you in a prepared class, so you will get raped unless you are putting the engine into a MG or something. Save your money, buy some good rubber and Konis.

There is a guy on here with ITB's (Pengafoo, or something like that.) I can't think of anyone else who has them on a street car. Basically, you get more power, but its way up in the powerband. Honestly, for the price you will end up paying you could do a full turbo swap, or just buy a running TII. I've tossed around the idea of doing it myself, but I just don't have the money.
theres a whole section on guys with ITB's from fuji, tweak-it, and guys that have used them from the suzuki hayabusa even, just search for it
and if you dont want to go turbo, and you have enough money for the ITB setup and a standalone, my position is do it... you already have a port so the only other big thing you can do to your car without a turbo is ITB. it'll add power and itll be the next best thing on an NA, just make sure that it gets tuned correctly or you could definitely run into problems
good luck man

Thought about doing that to my n/a, once I pull the motor for a rebuild. If its what you want to do and you can afford it, go with it. I bet the car would be a blast and sound amazing.
