Can my 1st gen alternator be used?

So can I use my alternator from my first gen on my turbo II motor? And what color are the wires that go to the starter? I can't figure it out and it is driving me crazy. Thanks.

umm don't know, but i have a similar question.
Can I use a 2nd gen alternator in a first gen?

We use FC alts all the time on FBs, so sure why no go the other way too? Same basic case, but the FB unit has less output.

Thanks. So the fb alternator is a single post also? If it is, it is going on right away.
