Waste of time. It's been dyno-proven to make almost no difference to engine performance and it disables an important safety feature (the fuel pump safety cut-off).

i was not trying to do it for peroformance but it works better then the flapper. i can install the s5 upside down around etc. and i dont need an adapter to fit a air filter on =).

what are you trying to do?

ps, the stock air filter and snorkel, although restrictive, benefit you better than just slapping on a hot air intake.

No it doesn't. It actually doesn't "work" as good if you take into consideration what I said above.

Personally I don't see the big deal about mounting the S4 AFM the right way up. It's not like it's hard.

and i dont need an adapter to fit a air filter on =).
You'll probably pay as much for a S5 AFM as you will for an adaptor, so there's no real financial benefit.
