ground wire under trailing coil
ground wire under trailing coil
ok I was checking grounds under my trailing coil and came across this wire that bolts to the lower part of the coil mount and to the shock tower. I checked the continuity of it and it seems to be bad. what's weird is that it has a little black box attatched to it. could that wire be a problem for the car not starting? what is this part called and where could I get a new one. or could I bypass the little black box with just a wire? ill post pics of the part in a few hrs b/c im actually on a friends mobile phone. thanx for aby help.
It's a condencer just like the one used on the oil sender unit. It should have been going to a connector attached to the black/yellow wires that feed the coil assy. The condenser itself would just be bolted to any good chassis gnd.
ok thats what i figured it was after lookin on my repai manual, it didnt pass a continuity test, what would happen if i just got rod of the condensor and just had a wire going to the ground
