Can I use a squeeze type gasket on...

Can I use that stuff in a can to seal where my upper intake manifold bolts to my lower manifold with this gasket stuff in a can. This stuff I have is suppose to be the best squeeze type of gasket out there. This is for a turbo II motor. Even if I can only get 1,000 miles out of it. The closest mazda dealer is over an hour away, and dthe NAPA type of stores say they don't even have a listing for this gasket. Does any one have a part #? Its for an 87. And if this stuff can be used let me know. Thanks.

I'd recommend RTV stype sealant if you're going to try this.&nbsp Follow the directions on the tube.&nbsp The spray stuff can be kinda messy trying to get it only on the intake manifold surface - use RTV in the tube with your fingers.

Is that what it is called? The stuff I have is called the right stuff and it squeezes out like arosol cheese. So this other stuff is suppose to be applied with your fingers? Hey and another thing, I appreciate all the help, you have responded to all of my posts, and I think that is cool. I am new to the TII motor.

We usually call it RTV silicone.&nbsp They are usually made by Permatex brand.&nbsp Yeah, that stuff you're describing sounds like a good substitute.

This is also made by permatex. It says it fills in little imperfections and I like the sound of that.
