can i use a +42mm wheel?
can i use a +42mm wheel?
i have read here that people recommend not going overm 32mm or so on the offset? is that the max i can go or can i use 42mm? 90 vert if that makes a difference or not. thanks

Yes, you can use 42mm with no problem provided the width is 7.5 or less and you use a 205 tire. Some 215 tires will rub the spring, some will not depending on alignment. If you have coilovers, you'll have more room for larger tires.

I use +42 x 7.5" adr limited wheels, tires are 215 x 40 x 17" on my 1990 gxl coupe ok , but later added spacers to bring the wheels out a bit to look better and add some space between the coil overs, bought the cheap *** universal spacers on ebay and later made some decent 5 bolt ones at work ..

If your looking at the 17" with the + 46 Adr limited wheels on ebay, you have to make spacers for the center caps on the front, or go without the caps because of the wheel shafts stick out too far , don't relly look bad without the center caps ...
