can I remove this sensor



im removing all the unecessary emmissions crap followign the writeup in the archive..so I figure I will be removing this sensor..its right next to the oil fill pipe, has 2 vacume hoses going into it..and one plug

anyoen knwo what she is off hand?

Let's see - It looks kinda like you have an S5 turbo..

If so - that's your boost control solenoid.

Unless you're planning an aftermarket boost controller, you probably want to keep it.
One line goes to the compressor outlet & waste gate.
The other goes back to the TID.
