Can I remove 6p control rods?

Eh? Can I take them out and seal off the back edge?

They're up in my airflow, yo

Yes you can. It will hurt your low-end a bit though. Too me its worth it, to others its not.

Hey tesla, I currently am running one stock, but disconnected 6 port, and one 6 port with actuating rod and all removed w a blockoff plate. The 6 port removal was actually last weekends project, but we were under the impression that you could do it with everything still in the car. I made my blockoff plate out of 1/4 inch aluminum plate, good stuff. Ground it into the same shape as the little plate holding the rod in, drilled holes to match, and sealed it with some liquid gasket stuff. I think its leaking a tad, i'll do it right this weekend though. Let me know how yours comes out, I'd like to see pics!! I dont have the luxury of a dig. camera, but i'll try and get something up eventually.
