Can I put a 89-91na engine in my 87na.

I was thinkiing abotu getting a new engine fo rmy 87na , the car is in pretty good shape, body and all. ANyways would a 89-91 engine fit in my car, or would i have to stick with the 86-88 engine. Are there any other options, rotary only

short is Yes... Long is... get ready for a big pain in the ***!!!! yes you can do it, and the 89-91's make more power.. but you goota buy all the electronics, not just the motor, the 6-port system is MUCH better on the 89-91's, but you have to have the airpump, vaccume system, and all the intake components, wiring harness and ECU..

best option is to find a wrecked 89-91, and switch everything over!
