can I plug the hose to the BAC valve...
A friend of mine gave a me a custom bent short ram intake pipe that he had bent the day before he wrecked his 7. It does have a place for that hose that goes to the BAC valve to connect on to. I dont ahve my air pump doing anything atm either... what would happen if I jsut blocked it off

if you block off the hole to the BAC, you can say good bye to your car and it will never idle again....
the BAC needs that meetered air for idling purposes, not for the air pump....
if u look at the Greddy Turbo Kit, the TDI has that hole there for the BAC also... it is very much needed..

ok, well, I dont use my air pump anymore, and it has a K&N filter on it, so if I took that filter off thre air pump and stuck it on the end of the BAC hose, would THAT be ok?

No that would not be ok. You are now allowing UNMETERED air to enter a CONTROLLED system. The air for the BAC valve MUST come from a source PAST the AFM.
Reading your original question, I still have no idea what the hell you are asking.

the big black pipe, that extends past the afm to the TB, I have a custom bent steel one to replace it, but it has no hole for the pipe that goes to the BAC

Also have somewhat thesame issues ,
why not put the new air filter asembly at the origional filter end ,, and not disterb the Bac hoses that goes into the original large rubber intake tube and then retro fit the new kit tube coming out of the chrome bent pipe and mate with the original air pump hose ?? ref.: 1990 GXL automatic ..
Ref. : I have the 2 hoses for the bac that mate at that rubber intake hose and the air pump goes into the origional mazda filter box ... haven't tried to hook it up yet ...

the thing is, the BAC needs METERED air.... no matter what u do, there is NO way around it... (i think unless u use a standalone ECU and ditch the AFM, correct this if its wrong)
anyways, even till now, the FC has became an old car in japan, but Trust is still making the Turbo Inlet Duct with a pipe to the BAC..... its after the AFM so the air thru tehere is metered.....
ok back to the point
the best bet is to DRILL your new intake pipe and weld on a fitting for the BAC...
remember, AFTER the AFM
and no u cannot put a breather there, because its unmetered... and no u cannot just unplug it because your car cannot idle....
is that more clear?
ZoomZoom, if u know any sort of welding, its better to weld on a flange.
if not, see if some machine shop or someone who knows welding to do it....
if not, see if u can find longer silicone that connects the AFM and the intake pipe, and the find a way to plug in a metal fitting, then hose clamp it down, and use THAT to get the metered air to the BAC

Dude, follow what these guys are saying, they're right on, it took me about six months of horrible idleing, stalling, bolting, dismantling and frustration before I figured it out on my own.
