can i leave the screw on teh eccentric shaft and still wash it?

can i leave the screw on teh eccentric shaft and still wash it?

i can't remove the screw inside the eccentric shaft on teh atkins video it says to remove the screw teh spring an dthe magnet ball before cleaning it.. can i clean it with out unscrewing that screw..?? it seems i scraped the screw a bit cuz i don't have a huge screw drievr!

why are you WASHING it exactally? if there's something on it... it's a non-porus material, you can wipe it down with a rag

well it has alil carbon particles i don't wanna scratch it.. can i use a 3d green padyou know taht pad we use too scrub the reidue of dirty plates

a scour pad? yes, that should be fine. After you do, spray it with some carb cleaner and wipe it down with a shop rag.

Cleaning the passage might be a big issue. If your oil pan had alot of crud, you need to clean every passage. Run down to your local Home Depot and spend 5.00 for a large screw driver and do it right.
