Can I keep the Boost solenoid from the S5 with my S4 Harness?

I had a S5 Jspec which I have rebuilt and is going in a S4. I am going to use all S4 electronics.

I'm pretty sure this will keep me from using the boost solenoid on the vac rack.

Any thoughts? When I got the Jspec that part was already blocked off by a screw so it wasn't doing aything at the time.

From what I've heard it's a boost controller of limited function. Helping spool quicker and adding a bit more boost.

I've got the S5 Vac rack and the hacked Jspec harness so I do have the solenoid. Any way of maybe making it work when I want it to?or something like a Aftermarket boost controller?

The boost control solenoid will only work with the S5 ECU anyway. If you want electronic boost control you'll need to buy an aftermarket controller.

I figured that since it would be ECU controlled. Damn.

Oh well. Kinda good since I have no idea what boost I'm going to see. I can always add on a BC later one if I want more power.
