You should fit. A car without a sunroof will have more head room, if you find you have issues in a sunroofed car.

my S5 has a bit less room in it than my S4 TII, for some reason the seats don't feel like they go back as far and there's less headroom with the stock seats in the S5 GXL, the S4 TII has aftermarket reclinable seats and just about anyone could fit into it.

I think it depends on WHICH way, you run out of room....

Chances are you're too tall, in the upper-body, instead of the lower. I know some pretty tall dudes that fit just fine in FC coupes, but they're tall in the leg and short in the torso.

If given the chance, get in one, slide the seat ALL the way back, and angle the seat back a couple of clicks.

Depending on where you're tall, you'll have more room in place 'A' vs 'B.'

+1 to 2g3n7's post. If you're taller in the torso than the legs, you'll have a little bit of problem putting the clutch all the way in.

Yeha, the car is a standard sports coupe. The extreme ones (Lotus, GT40, etc.) are the ones that are designed for people such as I. You can always replace the bracket and/or seat with a custom one to adjust incase you don't feel for enough room.

I'm 6'6" and 240lbls...athletic build...equally proportioned. I fit well enough in a non-sunroof model FD that I've driven mine for 8hrs without feeling discomfort. If you have an abnormally long torso or legs as opposed to being proportional...I could see potential issues.

Items that make a difference:

1) Get an FD (or FC for that matter) with NO SUNROOF. The amount of headroom is amazingly different! (I love my FC Vert as well for this reason...haha).

2) Purchase an aftermarket steering wheel of a smaller diameter and possibly a hub extension...this can create some additional leg space as well.

Regardless, if you are tall, it will look like you are getting out of a damn clown car. =)

I'm 6'1, 250 (non athletic build). I fit with room to spare. Its actually a very comfortable car. S4 with 10ae leather.

6'4" or 6'5" (depending on who measures me), and I fit fine in my FC with sunroof. However, if I had a helmet on, I'd have to make some sort of compromise. Slouch, lean back, tilt my head a bit, something like that. Drove an FD with no sun roof, that bubble roof has tons of room.

Much will depend on where your height is. I'm 6'3", and fit fine in my sunroof car - just. But I have extremely long legs, & proportionately short torso. So there's lots of legroom with the stock seat back all the way. Even so, with a helmet on, my head's firmly against the roof. Others who've driven my car who are several inches shorter in overall height, but longer in the body, have their heads just as much against the roof as I do with my helmet on.
