My electric mirror got torn off and the glass broken so i bough a new mirror on ebay, but its a manual mirror from the same year SE and mines a GXL,
using the old internal peices of my mirror can i convert the manual to electric? if not will it even bolt up properly and i will just have to set it by hand? thanks!

 

its a PITA to change them... but i'm sure its possible. It will bolt right up but you'll have to adjust it by hand unless they sent the other peices for the adjustment inside.

 

Its real easy man, I did it. You'll need the electric mirrors, the inside door trim with no hole for the adjustment, and the control panel. The wireing should already be in place in side the door and under the arm rest. It was plug and play for me. My only F*CK up was not getting the pig tail wire that comes off the mirrors and plugs inside the door. Had to make that. Good Luck.........

 

my car is already wired up for the electric mirrors its just the fact that my mirro got ripped off in a car accident, thanks for the info, hope it goes smooth!
