U might Get more atention if this was in the kilz section...But, i think u would be able to. What yr.. i dont know everything about hadas but the 15b wich is what it might have should only be putting out 128 hp or less. I would think u can beat him. At the 1/8 mile track here at qualcolm stadium i have seen those blue and black civic si(160hp) get 10.2-10.5. I then have seen stock 87s get 10.2 with just an air cleaner and a good driver.. But i have also seen moded 87 with lots of bolt ons get 9.9 to 11.2 or something like that. So traction and skill in racing is a big part of it...U can knock off lots of time if u keep practicing... I have seen my friends 86 get 9.6 with bolt ons. Later at the 1/4 mile he got 14.3. wich means No hodu without an engine swap can touch u... Some on nitrous can barely reach that time. If your worried about it ... why dont u mod your car real quick.. My 89GXL is fast with less than a grand put into it. I will sell u my Bonez race pipe for 100bucks i ship. its a direct replacement of the three cats on your car.

All I gotta say is make sure your 6PI is working or at least stuck open

I know when mine were stuck closed....I could barely get out of my own way. Also make sure that you cats are not totally plugged up. With those 2 systems heathly, a CRX is no sweat.

it might be close...the CRX weighs a SHITLOAD less than the FC. my friend has a really nice 90 SI. we've raced once in my n/a and midway thru second i started to pull on him...by 80 we shut down, i had 1.5-2 car lengths...

The American CRX Si is pretty weak @ 108hp. Yeah it's only 2100 pounds, but that engine is still too weak for it to be evenly compared with a properly functioning FC. Even a if he puts the ol' intake/headers/exhaust, it would still be a mismatch with equal mods on the FC. But then I could be wrong since I've only driven a turbo FC so I don't really know the difference between me and the n/a. I've driven a CRX Si with i/h/e and it was nuttin. :o

However, a swap with the JDM CRX Si engine (ZC) or the JDM CRX SiR engine (B16A) and it won't be such a joke anymore. My brother is thinking about doing a B16A conversion on his CRX so I'm gonna have some competition. 170+ hp in a 2100 pound car can be a killer.

I think that it would be a little closer than people think. My last car was a CRX and they are pretty peppy. I could beat a GSR, CIVIC SI, even 1st gen gst's. I had quite a bit of work done, but it was still the stock motor. There are lotz of cheap trix to do for quick hp.

I beat a 88(I think) CRX SI when I had a 1989 Probe LX(slow as hell).
