Can the generic brand high flow cats hold up to high rotary temps?

I need to get a 3" high flow cat for emissions and I'm wondering if the generic universal cats hold up to the high temps that the rotary produces. I dont really want to spend over a 100 bucks on a cat thats why I want a universal high flow cat. I know it probably wont flow as well as the other name brands but I'm only using it for the test. Also the name brand cats cost big bucks and I havent come across a 3inch one either.

Its kind of a toss up. Try to find a temp rating for the cat... That will tell you what you need to know.

it's just a unversal 3" with air hookup. had to buy flanges and get them welded on after.

I'm also running no airpump.

if you are looking for the cat to be in tact for next years inspection then good luck! i had mine replaced for emissions and when i dropped the exhaust less than 6 months later to replace my clutch, it was toast!
