Question Can a FD turbo manifold fit an FC? If not why????

This is a manifold from e-bay that looks nice but it is only for the FD's, why won't it fit our cars?

The FD intake minifold stays much closer to the engine than the s4/s5 ones do. Your turbo would hit the intake manifold.

They talked about this before in the single turbo section about a month ago. Anyways, it WILL bolt up. The question is really whether the turbo will bolt up/hit anything I believe. They have the same bolt patterns for the manifold to go to. And I forgot which way, but they said you can put one from one car on the other, but not the other way around. I'll see if I can find it for you.

As said, they bolt up. But it depends on the turbo if youll need to put a spacer between the manifold and the engine. If its a close fit, you could get away w/ longer manifold studs, a second gasket and another flange from racing beat or w/e.

Just get an HKS cast manifold, they aren't that expensive.
