Can BOV make you run richer?

I just installed my blitz bov. I noticed that its running riiiich. my eyes burn if i stand behind it. I didnt notice this before i installed the BOV. Was it always like this?

ALso, without a AFM, my car will run rich whenever i let off my throttle right?

If you stand behinde any car long enugh your eyes will burn and water. Yes if you run a MAF based EMS and you vent the BOV it will get a rich shot between on and off throttle "shifts".

iceblue I don't think he is talking about it running rich between shifts... the guy can't stand behind his car while he shifts dude...

but yeah the car shouldn't be running rich at idle... unless the bov is leaking or something or you got a leak in the pipes somewhere... and as iceblue explained when running with a maf it will be rich between shifts...

The only way your car will be runner richer at idle after a bov install is it it's leaking. Is your idle steady and normal?

Recirculate and use a Fcon or SAFC II

Or use a standalone EMS.

SAFC cannot control fuel on decel and cant stop an atmospheric BOV from sucking in unmetered air.
