Its a valve that is connected to the UIM for emmisions purposes...I dont remember the name It connects on the driver side of the UIM, a big nipple.

The pressure sensor hooks up the the nipple on the UIM on the passenger side.

i believe it is called an "air diverter valve" it is used to assist idle in high load situations such as electrical load and power steering load situations.

oh and instead of starting a new thread? whats the easiest way to take off oil cooler lines. those are on tight as **** to take off. its not even funny. i need to hook them up to the new engine. more specifically its the bolts on the cooler itself.

Best way is with an impact gun and a 23mm socket. Otherwise, 23mm socket, ratchet with a breaker bar. If you use the ratchet, dont unbolt the oil cooler, take out the bolts where it is. You will have to remove the rad though...

DO NOT HEAT IT UP WITH A TORCH!

Yes, 23mm. 100% sure.

I suggest you bolt it back on to unscrew the bolts.

Yes it is.

Well, I'll get back to the thread every 15 minutes or so. So if you have any questions, I'll hold your hand through the process.

Yes, I have nothing to do tonight.

Or, its the canister to filter the gas fumes. Keep it or your car will smell like a shell station.

Thats the canister I was talking about.

The line under it doesn't connect to anything. Whatever comes out just goes out in the atmosphere. Just make sure it doesn't dangle dangerously.

Sorry for the slow answers, a couple of friends just popped in.

another thing is by the brake master cylinder. right behind it is that the power brake booster? and if so...it has a metal line that goes around the firewall to the passanger side and then curves downward. but its missing a hose. where does it connect too? ill get the pic up in a bit.

Is it a J-spec engine? If so, it connects to the LIM on the passenger side. If its USDM engine, it connects to the UIM passenger side.

Kind of tube with a square fitting that bolts on the UIM/LIM. No need for pics. I'll take some and show you. BRB
