Look in my sig. for FSM's, training manuals, and parts fiches to see how things go together. Focus on the maintenance section and go based on need and difficulty. See stickies and archives at the top of this section. You'll learn much faster that way.

I'll give you a tip for now though...if you smell a lot of gas around the top of the engine or are driving along and see smoke and electrical things fu*king up, grab your fire extinguisher (which you should have handy). Search for "pulsation damper fire". This should be one of the first advices to a new FC3S owner (and should be in the archives/stickies).

Sparxxx, ignore them. They were being retards.. You can't just "bolt on" another rotor.

With enough skills and machinery and/or money you can do just about anything.

So you are saying thats a good suggestion for the question of the OP?

"wats up im new to the rx7 game can anyine give me some tips and tricks i own a 2nd gen non turbo???"

Obviously not ready to strap on an extra rotor.

Just not a valid answer in my eyes. Just my 2cents.

Forum FAQ & forum search for all questions.
Haynes manual. Do everything in chapter 1 (scheduled maintenance). Then redo it following the schedule. FSM (download from forum FAQ) works too.
+1 aaroncake's site.
Things that destroy a rotary fast: knocking/too much boost, overheating, driving without any oil or oil pressure. Maintain carefully to prevent, pull over immediately if there's a problem.
Upgrades (use forum search for more info): suspension, exhaust, intake, intercooler, street port. Get some kind of tuning system to tune rich, upgrade the fuel system and upgrade the BOV before increasing the power. Otherwise you knock: see above. Drive train and radiator upgrades may be necessary too.

In which portion of my post do I make a recommendation? The OP asked a question, and I answered it.

You are quite welcome to contact Pettit and PFS to validate my estimates for a 3-rotor conversion, and I think the Hitman link is proof enough that a 3rd rotor housing can be bolted to a 2-rotor engine.
