Fuel injector resistor. If you had one before you need one now.
86's had different impedence injectors than the later S4's and S5's requiring the resistor

The "coolant" tank on the firewall is the subzero start assist tank.

FWIW

I know how to write. This is a forum, not an english class. Either contribute meaningful material or **** off.

Well it's not a hard job per se but I don't think it will work. The impedence of the fuel injectors is different between the 86 and 88 engines. I installed a used 88 long block into my 86 chassis and used the wiring harness from the 88. I could not use the 86 harness IIRC because of the injector issue - different injector connectors plus the resistor pack problem. I'm sure there is a way to cut open the harness, swap the injector plugs, and strip out the resistor pack wires to make it work but it might be just as easy to simply rpelace it with the correct harness.
If you feel like a little light reading and a chuckle or two you might take a look at my webpages starting here: http://www.negative-camber.org/crisp...c/fcpart13.htm
or go right back to the very beginning here: http://www.negative-camber.org/crispyrx7/fc/fcpart1.htm
It's the best I can provide.
HTH,

You put a 88 engine in a 86. Used the 88 EM harness.

No problem as long as you used the 88 fuel injectors.

If you used the 86 injectors on the 88 harness, then you need to add to each injector wire, a 6ohm resistor block. But why make life difficult? Use the 88 injectors.
