Question Can 02 be removed?

Im replacing my exaust with a bonez 2.5" race pipe but while removing the old exaust i had to cut the sodder off the o2 sensor that as holding it to the cat. After cutting the sodder of the 02 pipe, it now just hangs down im wondering if i can just disconnect it from the engine

What the hell is the "sodder"? Do you mean solder?

Anyway, if you don't have acts, just take the pipe off the engine via two 8mm (IIRC) bolts, and affix a block off plate. the are easy to fabrictae, or you can buy them. I think Mazdatrix has them, K@RD does, and racing beat may as well too.
