The % doesn't even match, not to mention that almost every person who's bought it has gone standalone immediatly afterwards, and still only hit that, I'd say you're better off paying someone to do it for you with a DECENT charger.

Ok I wanna see some pictures or something about the whipple s/c. I've been following the s/c project by 88integrals, but where is all the info on the whipple's. I'm hoping to do a s/c project of my own in the near future.

Unfortunately for those using the camden supercharger, it features a pair of 1950s era straight two lobe rotors. The eaton M90 is completely superior in that it has three lobe rotors with a 60 degree twist and a refined port discharge shape to reduce the oscillation of airflow as it exits the blower. Still, M90s are not even close to a standard turbo compressor or centrifugal supercharger (for efficiency: ie. amount it heats up the air and amount of power it draws to create boost).
Enter the twin screw. Behold, the ultimate supercharger. All the efficiency of a turbo or centrifugal supercharger with the predictable and instant boost profile of a roots blower.
Above is the oldschool IHI lysholm (twin screw) 3 / 4 lobe 5.5" compressor, manufactored for Mazda for the Millenia S. Like all cool cars Mazda made, the Millenia S is discontinued but their chargers remain on ebay, ranging from a couple hundred to a thousand bux. I'm not yet sure if this unit is enough for a wild ported 13B, but I'm real close to finding out, muahahahaha.......

Lol, zjbarra just about flips out whenever I mention your testing of this unit. He can't understand how a GED educrat could ever understand PV=nRT. I don't talk to him much anymore. Something about people who call BS at every opportunity and base it on personal attacks makes me get real jumpy.

Who ever said a formal education makes you somehow smart?
Rat is a smart guy, he confuses me and makes me feel like an idiot on a regular basis on AIM I'm almost afraid to ask questions anymore hehe.

The way you talk about the Twin Screw SC, just makes me want to put one on my car even more. Even though it's an automatic, I want to do it. I know I'll take alot of **** for adding a SC to an "automatic," but I don't care. I'll just have to find someone, instead of a shop to do it.

There is no way to do it 'right'. The charger itself is flawed. You'll never get more power out of that camden than out of a whipple. So, if you would, please stfu.

I do custom installs per request, no kits though (damn chargers cost too much to have in stock, unless you go with used, which I tend to stay away from on other peoples cars)

SonicRat, how much would that cost, how long would you have to have the car for, how much power would it make, etc. etc.
You can PM me the answers if you'd be interested.
I was really interested in the camden until all the feedback started, I've been thinking Supercharger for a long time.

On a whipple it's as soon as the charger gets air and pressurizes the intake (IE, instant).
To the two of you above, it all depends on what you want, and what kind of hardware you wish to use, I mean, a NEW whipple costs around $3500+ alone just for the charger! Things can get expensive QUICK! This is why I always suggest people go turbo, but if they're REALLY set on supercharging, then I do it anyway.
