caliper painting

can I paint my calipers with that engine enamle you can get from advanced auto parts? its the stuff that can take heat up to 500 degrees. I have a can of it laying around and I would love to use the rest on my calipers. Thanks.

yeah...it'll look good if you remove the calipers all-together, clean them, prime them, then paint them.

dont use 500f paint it will come off very quick. use the 1500f paint thats what i did it holds up good

damn!!! break calipers get hotter than 500f thats crazy I don't think I've seen any paint that would withstand that much temp where can I find that and is it expensive? Thanks.

lmoa...I used $.88 wal-mart spray paint and it's outlasted the pain on the car...
