Caliper Paint job

I was board one day, so i decided that i was gonna paint my calipers it actually turned out pretty good. Tell me what you think.

Just curious but why piant your calipers when their behind stock whhels? You can't see them unless you remove the wheel...??

ill get a finished pic.

and why would i paint behind the stock wheel? because i was bored, and it looks a little better. hahaha it took me 7 hours lol. it was a really nice day, can u blame me?

i would have taken them off and painted them if i were you... then let them dry overnight so the paint will cure well.... maybe even put them in the oven for a bit so the paint would harden and wont flake off after a little wear and tear plus its easier to do it that way imo... looks good though

i thought i would just brake hard for a while to cure them. i never thought of baking them. good call, ill try it next time.

i used a base coat of the enamel and then coated it with the metal cast.

Hmm Me thinks the metal cast won't last very long.

I don't think that stuff is design for the heat the brakes will produce

now that i think of it, i thought i checked for a heat rating..... i just checked again and i didnt see one. but it is "heat resistant" lol. meh ill redo them in the spring when i get new wheels
