Hi all,

I am after a worm, drive cable for the sunroof of a Series 4 88'. And have had no luck whatsoever finding it in Australia so it has come to my interest of looking abroad.

Does anybody have a spare??

Is there a parts shop out there in the states that might have em or any website that you might think might be able to help me out??

I can arrange a US address to send to or international post would be the other option.

Thanks, any help or advice is much appreciated, its getting annoying as I have rung at least 30 wreckers in the country to no avail.

 

i would be in on fininding this, mine hasnt opened in months(years according to seller but ill go from my experience). + to get to it i would need to take all trim and headliner out, takes time, and patience to not break the fragile plastic that closing the door has done to some of it

 

Yea thats a mission getting to the sunroof through the lining and all that.

Anyway, cables are around ( In the states atleast thank god)

should see if anyone can send you the whole working sunroof skeleton,,as that part is a real bitch to get at.

 

If you still need it, I just stripped a sunroof assembly and got all the little bits and pieces on the side.
