I recently got a 1987 Turbo ][ and i got it aprased by my insurence company and they said it was a Cp Rx-7 and that there was only 3500 of them made and I was wondeing what the difference was between a Cp and a regular Turbo 2??

Why don't you call your insurance company or the appraiser?

 

CP is short for coupe for most DMV and insurance companies

 

So do Turbo 2's have rear seats? Because mine doesnt? Is that why they call it a CP

i dont think any of them do, i dont think ones with rear seats were imported

 

theres kits to add rear seats, but why would you.....you might be able to store a cat or small animal in the back, but thats it.....

 

You'll be amazed with the rear seats!
