A/C Blower makes crackling sound
Ok, so everytime I turn my blower on a/c or heat doesn't matter...there is a crackling sound coming from somewhere on the passenger side of the car. It almost sounds like it's in the dash. My thought is that when the car sat up forever waiting for the motor to get rebuilt that maybe leaves got in the system/vents somehow.....cause that's what it sounds like...really dry leaves kinda moving around or cracking. Is there anything else electrically in that area of the car that could be making that sound when the blower is turned on?

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a screw in the vent way back where i had to dissassemble half the dash to get to it.

all those vents are intact (unless there are pieces that could be broken off that can't be seen from the top without removing the vents) If it bugs me enough...i'll take them out and see if I can see anything...but as fragile as they are, I'd hate to break them trying to take them out.

what we were trying to say is, it could be anything from broken peices of the vent grill, to a screw or other small items light enough to be blown around by the blower

yea that was my hunch as well....I just wanted to make sure that there wasn't anything else you guys could think of electrically or otherwise that might be making a funny sound in there, that would only happen when blower is on. Thanks guys.
