Yup, supposed to come on at 7800/6800 (dependign on what redline you have S4/S5).

200 rpm earlier since it takes time to react....

About the buzzer, i had an idea less than 20 min ago that i want to do to my car, i hate how the shift light comes on at like 3.5 or 4k. so i want to just cut the soder to the shift light, and wire it in parallel with the buzzer so it comes on at or near redline.. i dont think thats rice, the lights already there and it does say "SHIFT"

just one of my thoughts while driving the stratus.. wishing it was my 7.
