Unhappy Buzzing Noise

Hi all,

I have a strange buzzing noise when my 86' T2 is idling. I have my foot off the accelerator and it buzzes, if I put a bit of pressure on the pedal it stops. The buzzing seems to stop as soon as the engine hits 1000 rpm and above. Ths noise sounds like it's comming from the fuse box in the drivers footwell. Has anyone else had this or does anyone know what it is and/or how to fix it???

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx in advance!

It's strange, it goes away if I wind both the windows up at the same time!!

Maybe it's an electrical problem?? I know my alternator isn't charging like it should be, could it have something to do with that?
