Getting rid of the buzzer is really easy. Remove cluster, find buzzer on back of circuit board, 1/2in. x 1/2in. white box with grate cut into it, insert pick into grate and destroy metal cone. No more buzzer. I had to do this after bridgeporting, hitting 7k just cruising down my street.
