im thinking about buying this car but before i call the guy is everything what he is saying sounding correct. would the lake of throttle response be because i need to go back to the distributor. also will the first gen one work with that one. also is that hard to do... thanks for all help.

That doesn't sound correct to me, so you may want to call Racing Beat and ask if poor acceleration is common with their kit if the ignition is not also converted to the outdated distributor system. I think it is more likely that the acceleration is bad due to poor carburetor tuning.

Also, your question would get better responses had you used a title that referenced carburetor conversion as opposed to buying. Very few people convert the EFI to the outdated carburetor setup, so it helps to have a title that guides these few people to your forum question.

As for buying the car, the price does seem pretty good assuming that nothing major is wrong with the car.
