Buying Racing Beat

I plan on buying Racing Beat Exhaust System with Presilencer + Header. Just making sure i'm buying the correct products. What do you guys think? Should I buy the Road Race instead? Heres what I plan on ordering:

Racing Beat Exhaust
Racing Beat Header
Racing Beat Presilencer

I personally think you should spend an extra 100 or 200 bucks and get the true dual system. Its gonna give you more power. It will be louder, though.

Racing Beat, always a good choice.

If you buy the Road Race header and pre-silencer, you're going to need the y-pipe and the mufflers because the road race presilencer won't bolt up to the factory y-pipe. Of course, I used the 2 into 1 header with a presilecer and it was WAY TOO LOUD with the OEM mufflers, so I had to buy the RB mufflers anyway.

Personally, I would buy the complete road race exhaust.

The Southern California Rx-Club Beach BBQ is August 20th.
The last biggie B4 SevenStock.

Doesn't the RB exhaust system come with mufflers and y-pipe?

" Our system consists of a Racing Beat Y-pipe and two 2-inch (OD) 304-stainless steel Power Pulse muffler canisters. "

And heavier, if I was building a race style car I would do it. If it is a street car and you are just looking for some pep, I stick to what you have planed out.

The links you posted are also for the mufflers, so yes it is the whole system. Many people just get the streetable header and presilencer with another catback system, such as the Apex N1 or Greddy. The RB system is second to none in quality, and has a wonderful sound from what I've been told.
The true dual system uses the road race header, where it has a dedicated pipe for each rotor. Theres a link to the whole setup on the road-race header page.

Yea, its just going to be a daily street driver. My current exhaust is leaking + mufflers are rusted so I need to replace it...might as well upgrade

No matter which system you end up with it will be a big improvement over a failing stock system.

I've read that a downpipe is more reasonable then a header for daily driving. Is this true?

A header is just going to make it a tad louder but its bullshit to not buy it if you're already getting the rest of the setup.

Definately look into the road race system(true dual) which will yield more power.

It really shouldn't be too hard for you to do yourself.

:-/ Downpipe is for a turbo car and a header is for a N/A car.

I plan on swapping a 13b turbo next year so should I just go with the downpipe?

Actually a NA downpipe uses the stock exhaust manifold. They usually have a presilencer to bolt up to the cat-back.
