buying a JDM engine
Has anybody here bought an engine from naganojapanese.com? I ask because I just purchased one and they want my S.S. number to get it across the US and Canadian border.

yeah I did from osakajdmmotors.... they asked me for SSN too since it had to transferred from one country to another... not sure exactly why but other friends had to this too... if you don't mind me asking how much did you pay? I paid 850 shipped to my shop...

nice, mine came with a warranty and no ecu either 
or harness... but luckily I bought the ECU and harness for 200 bucks... mine is going in a 88 vert... but i'm having someone else do the work
