Hey guys, I'm going to check out an RX7 that will be a non-street drift car. I completely tore apart an 89 a couple of years back with a friend, but I really didnt learn too much about what to watch out for when purchasing one.

I know this one smokes, the owner thinks its coolant seals, but I dont know how much he knows about cars. What do I need to check out to make sure that this thing is worth picking up?

What I do know about it - unknown year, does not have a sun roof, runs and supposedly "pulls strong", but smokes. Smoke is supposedly white, but again, not sure how much he knows about cars.

What should I look out for? BTW, this is going to cost me somewhere between 400-600 dollars, so I'm not looking for perfection, just a beater to drift in.

 

Before anyone else yells at you about it, be sure to use the search function before posting as somebody has prolly already asked the same question (usually, many, many times).
