Buying an fc need opinion and help

Hey guys,
My friend is buying a 1990 t2 fc and he is having trouble pulling the trigger. The car seems to have problems and he would like to have a second opinion. I copied and pasted what he wanted to post:
" I'm purchasing, a 1990 rx-7 turbo 2 FC3S. The car takes about 4seconds at least for it to start up. (Cold Start) And after it's warm up, drove it hard for about 10mins. Return back to the owner's house and shut off the car. The car still idle for 3mins because it has a apexi turbo timer. After letting the car sit for 5mins, i try restarting the motor. First I tried to just clutch in and crank the motor, It didn't start. The seller told me to pump the gas and it started up but it took about like 4secs still. I'm wondering if the motor is losing compression, and if it is how can i know?"
My fd doesn't need pumping of the gas pedal to start up, but i'm not sure if fcs needed it.
THanks

Could be that it's flooding out a bit. If the price is right, even if the engine is on the way out, it could be a very reasonable buy.

Oh. The car is selling for 4.6k. It has a koyo rad, blitz boost gauge, temp gauge, electric fan, meagan coil overs, apexi catback, some downpipe, braided brake likes, slotted brake rotors, rebuilt calipers. Those are some of the mods. What do you guys think?

Ask for a compression test.

Ask the owner to fix the flooding problem...if that's really the cause. If he can fix it then 4.5k sounds reasonable depending on the condition of the body and the presence of rust.

if your friend buys this FC.... make sure either the seller or your friend installs the stock clutch fan..... MUCH more effective than an e-fan.

Ever wonder why some of the cleanest, high horsepowered Supras and Skylines still retain the stock fan and shround?
