Buying AFCO dual pass, can I still run stock shroud?

As the title states, I am purchasing an afco dual pass rad in the near future.
It is 23.5"x20"x 3" thick core, and is a universal design, so I am unsure if the stock fan and shroud will work/ fit.
I know I will most likely need to get rid of the stock airbox so everything can fit. Please post any relevant info or experience you have!
Pics get bonus points.
Thanks,
-Miles

depending how you mount it you probably have to get rid of the battery tray and the airbox. i've never tried the stock shroud i assume it won't fit, the AFCO is way bigger than the stock radiator.
Paul sized that radiator because the core is the same size as the opening in the sheetmetal, IE its the biggest thing you can fit in an FC without cutting.

and what are possible other options for an alternator swap I know it has been covered, but is there any thing bolt on? (not taurus)Thanks a bunch

A 70A S4 alternator was not that happy with my 15A fan, so a 22A fan will be worse. Switching to an FD alternator is relatively easy, as long as you can find a non-underdrive dual sheave pulley. I happen to have an extra one with stock diameter (I think it's one Higgi made). PM if interested.
