Buying '87 Turbo? Tomorrow
Strange thing happened, on my way home from work I spotted a FC with a price tag for $900 dollars sitting in someones yard.
I stopped right away and dialed the number that was on the car. To make a long story shirt, I went out, took a look at it and found out that the car was starting to rust on the frame, sunroof , wheel wells and some other areas but nothing too crazy.
I noticed what looks like a pretty good size oil leak, but I cant tell what cant of fluid it was or where it was leaking from because I didnt get to look under the hood start it up or drive it.
The car didnt have any TII badging or a TII hood. I thought the car was an N/A but I got home and did a car fax and found out that the damn thing is an '87 Turbo!

It doesnt look like it should be a turbo but thats what CarFax is telling me. How accurate do you guys think CarFax is?
Maybe someone can decode the VIN and give me a second opinion.
