Buying 1987 rx7 1 owner

I'm looking to buy my son a vantage car. It's been sitting g 15 years in a garage w a cover on it. Went to look at it today but didn't take pictures. Body is in excellent condition w very few blemishes. Interior is also in great condition.

He's only asking 2k. Can't go wrong w that price?

If it's an NA, then it looks like the rare "Sport" model. My first RX7 was an '86 Sport ext. color Tornado Silver. The Sport had the rear spoiler, 15" directional alloy wheels, 4-piston fixed front calibers, and stiffer suspension. How many miles are on it?

I'm not sure about mileage, will have to replace battery to see. I'm not familiar w these cars but appears to be in good shape for the price.

Forgot to mention that my '86 RX7 Sport, that I bought new in Fall of '85, also had an aluminum hood.

It's a mechanical odometer..... should be able to read it.

That body and interior good, I don't care if it runs. I'm taking it for 2k...even if it did run, doesn't mean it will for long. I wouldn't overthink it. If you have to, you may not be ready to have it 😂
