NM Buy1 got 1 free

Ok so i found this 91 vert for sale on the net. The guy only wanted $500 for it so i Call him up, and drive 1.5 hrs to see it. It turns out the motor is crap, it doesn't even turn but the rest of the car looks good no rust and the top works fine with no tears. He then shows me an 86 hatch he had bought for parts and says he will throw it in with the deal. After researching ang finding out most the krap off the s4 will not be useful to me since the vert is an s5 i am going to strip it of everything i can use like the KEG, HYDRAULIC COMPONENTS(clutch and brakes master and slave), RADIATOR, OIL COOLER, COILPACKS, FRONT FENDERS, BUMPER, HOOD, What else should i take off before sending it to the crusher that would benifit me in my vert build. I appreciate the feedback.

Put a Part out thread in the 2nd gen for sale or wanted and start taking requests. Even if you sell stuff for cheap or people low ball you, you are still getting something for nothing I for one have a few things I might want off of your 86. Take a picture of it and have people buy stuff off of it. It would be a shame to see a 86' go to the crushers when there is still a lot of stuff worth selling on it...

Free Motor!

Just strip everything off the s4 motor and put all of the s5 stuff on it. Then stuff that in your new vert!

THere ya go, new motor for you!

I really dont wanna go through all the trouble of selling parts off it too much work. Besides the car doesnt even have a title. I might be able to take requests for a few parts for a few people but thats not y i am here i was just wondering what else i might be able to use.

K. a lot of the interior parts are the same between the s4 and 5's. The NA fuel pump is the same on your NA vert. entire drivetrain. etc. pretty much everything is the same minus the motor design and the difference between vert and coupe

Well the tranny is no good (already on the vert) fuel pump is no good(had to swap from the vert to try to start it) rear end is locked up. I could use the half shafts right?

Pointless to send it to the crusher. Strip it for what you want and let someone have the body.

Does it have the coolant overflow jug behind the front coilpack???

That would be something I would buy!

Thanks,
