engine shaking

1990 TII,hbp, 550 primaries/1680 secondaries.
The car had a haltech e6x on it and ran fine. I switched to an e8 and now i am having issues im not sure what to check. When i crank the car the engine rocks back and forth quite a bit. Once it starts the engine continues to shake. It is also belching smoke out of the tailpipe. WAY more than before. According to my wideband my afr is arou 13.8ish when it should be idling. Would running on 1 rotor cause the engine ot shake a lot. I dont think it is blown because it was working fine before i yanked off the e6x. What should i check first?

it should not smoke if 13.8 is your true A/F ratio, id suspect its running on one rotor or somethin, as that ussually makes them shake violently...
if it ran before its probalby not blown im guessing something isnt setup right for use with the e8 instead of the e6x??

Could be bad timing or a broken motor mount. Does it sound like its running on one rotor? Its sounds very different than when they run on two.
