Well, after testing my A/C system last night, I have determined that the A/C compressor is shot.

I have 12V going to the compressor, system is charged, but the clutch will not engage.

Question:
Where can I find a reliable new/used A/C compressor inexpensively?

OR:

Can I have my current compressor repaired?

 

A new one can be had from http://www.rx-7.com/ look under the 86-91 catalog and then under specials. Two hundred fifty bucks new.

But then again the magnetic clutch can be replaced. But you need to balance out the cost of having that done and a new compressor.

 

I have two so if you need one just pm me and we can work out a price. Both work flawlessly.
