Well I've been collecting all my black interior pieces over the years. Now that it almost complete , I'm down to some missing and busted vents . A few years ago I got into a bidding war with someone on flea bay over a s5 surround center vent . Won it for $50 . 2days ago I bust led out one whole vent , stupid me !!! . The other vent is intact . So I figured I need a egt gauge and would put it there . The other vent is the dash defroster vent on top . Everyone that I've ever found is broke . And one ever make a blank for that . In the end just wanted to see what you guys lately have been doing for such problems and gauge placement . Looked through Google and sited the forum and saw some older threads ,also found a nice panel from built to apex but only for the radio delete which I made a panel already . Thanks guys

the defrost and triangle vents are available new, same price as most people sell used.

the S5 center vents are the hard part, they are like $80 new, and hard to find used

Look up Malloy Mazda in Woodbridge, VA; call the parts department and ask for Ray Crowe. Tell him what you need and he'll hook you up.

You mean "rapid prototyped".

But with all this stuff still available at the dealer, why? Is it going to be cheaper, the same colour, and not look like it was made by piling layers out of a hot glue gun?

Dash defrost vents and triangles are available on ebay. I see black ones all the time.

Decided to just make one since I have no use for the vent anyway . I'll let one of you fine gents buy it that does have a use for it . Did the old grave stone rubbing trick to make a template . Going to get some black plastic bolts tomorrow . Not bad for free and a few beers
