bushing

i am replacing my shocks and i pryed off the shock and i cut off the rubber bushing but the metal bushing is still rusted on and i was wondering if any body had any sugestions

I had this problem. Easiest thing to do is to cut a slot lengthwise in the metal bushing until you just barely contact the mounting post inside the bushing. Then you can crack the bushing off with vise-grips or a big flathead screwdriver.
