Burnt clutch?

1988 na fc
full t2 drivetrain
fidanza 9lbs fly
stage 2 spec clutch

What would cauze my brand new clutch, pressure plate and fly to look like this after just puting around my block? I also put in new throw out bearring, and pilot bearring.

Wen i finally got my car registerd tabs ect i took her out for a 5-10 min drive, the clutch slipped like crazy , couldnt put the gas pedal on more than 1/4 or is would slip really bad other wise on flat ground she drives perfect.

IDK but I have heard a lot of poor reviews on spec clutches so If you are pretty sure you did everything right (not much to screw up really) I would point my finger at that clutch.

It looks kind of chewed up around the flywheel mounting holes, maybe it wasn't torqued properly or something?

cant get your money back? I would complain that it ruined your flywheel surface as well.

As long as you torqued everything properly I would say that the pressure plate was warped and that caused those hot spots.

Oh ya those marks are from locking washers , i torqued them down real tight.
No warranty on performance parts is what i was told.
