And LSD doesn't make your car burn out better.

If anything it makes it harder to burn out.

2 lines of smokin rubber is always better than one though.

Ya can someone tell me the proper way to do a burn out like that. Doesn't it wear alot of your rear pads?

I just did a brakestand, and the exhaust is an HKS(I'm not 100% sure) setup made for a Turbo II.......it's like 3 inches.....too big.

How to do a burnout 101

Yes, the "proper" way to do a standing burnout is to...

1. Rev the engine to whatever you feel is good enough to get the REAR tires to slip (FWD cars "can't" do burnouts )

2. Let out on the clutch (read:drop it).

3. QUICKLY depress the brake pedal to the point that the car stops moving (even if you're spinning wheels the car is moving unless you make it not, be careful not to look like a dumb *** and just stop the car (it will take practice ).

4. Keep the accelerator where you need it to keep the tires boiling, the revs will bog if you don't adjust the throttle for the brakes you just applied.

5. Tell your friend to wait until the smoke clears so the pic is actually clear and there is a car there .

P.S
You should've seen the 1st pic he took...there was no car, no lot, no nothing...just white billows EVERYWHERE (thus you still see my hand in the pic telling him to wait cuz I couldn't see him either ). Oh yea...that Miata is literally bone stock except the "Grrrrrrrr" doll hanging in the mirror.

In case the first link doesn't work.

Oh yea, if you want to get advanced with it (please don't stall the car)...you can adjust how much braking and throttle you're using and walk the burnout also. Be careful not to stall (DON'T STALL) or just pull off until you're ready.

I always start my burnouts with my right heel on the gas, right toes on the brake and the left left is free to pop the clutch....never stall doing a burnout that way, and it gives it that "line-lock" look. No jerkey brake stab after the intial wheelspin.
